MacGregor – A true packer. MacGregor is a Horse (just 14.3) that wants to be a pony. He’s a Quarter Horse cross, gelding and approximately 15/16 years old. He jumps cross-rails to 2’6″ with ease. In the past year he has done Short Stirrup, Long Stirrup, Pre-Children’s Hunter, CHJA Medal, and Modified Children’s Hunter (2’6″). He has shown and ribboned at “A” and “AA” shows including HITS Saugerties, Vermont, Big “E”, Mystic, Pines, and Westbrook.

MacGregor has auto-changes, is reliable, safe, always takes the jump, walks off the trailer ready to show. He always pins over fences and gets a piece of the hack.MacGregor has helped his current owner (11 year old girl) to master 2′ and 2’6″ fences, so that she is moving up to a horse and Children’s Equitation and Hunter Divisions.He is perfect to help a young rider move up from Short Stirrup to Pre-Childrens’.MacGregor is currently stabled at Mystic Valley Hunt Club Gales, Ferry, CT and is available for viewing.MacGregor has an impressive resume:
