The banquet season has begun!  We missed the New England banquet where Haprur was 5th in Children’s Equitation.  Last night was the Connecticut Hunter Jumper Association (CHJA) Awards banquet, where Harpur picked up a 4th in Children’s Equitation.  We sat with all our friends and barn mates from Mysic Valley Hunt Club.

Special Congratulations to Cynthia Jensen who received the President’s Award and Matthew Couzens who received the Distinguished Service Award.

The 2008 CHJA Awards Banquet was held at the Hartford Hilton Hotel Saturday, February 2, 2008. Harpur received her 3rd place 2007 year end award for Pre-Children’s Hunter on MacGregor and was the standin for Amanda Olberg’s Reserve Champion award in Adult Jumpers. The Mystic Valley Hunt Club and Hunter Run Stables shared tables at the back of the ballroom and celebrated the 2007 Season. Congratulations to everyone!
